After suffering a concussion in last Sunday’s game in Detroit, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has not even been cleared to practice yet. In his absence, back-up quarterback Matt Flynn has been practicing as though he will be the starting quarterback on Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots on the road. Coach Mike McCarthy says that there is a small chance that Rodgers can be cleared to practice by Friday, so a decision about his starting status would be made on Saturday. Many believe that the Green Bay Packers need Rodgers in order to win against New England and that the Packers’ play-off chances are riding on Rodgers’ shoulders. The Packers’ receivers believe in Flynn’s abilities and are not concerned if Rodgers has to sit out Sunday night’s game. Time will tell if Aaron Rodgers is able to start at New England.
