The Badgers football program released their entire 2012 football schedule earlier this week, finally putting to rest speculation on the upcoming year. Wisconsin has long been a program which, despite its historic success, was undercut by less-than-challenging regular season schedules. This year, head coach Brett Bielema took advantage of laxer Big-Ten scheduling rules to change that perception, moving games to accommodate four out-of-conference opponents. Those four are highlighted by Brigham Young University, who visits Camp Randall on November ninth.
Bielema had to move up a planned September twenty-eighth conference opener against Purdue a week earlier to get the Brigham Young game scheduled, meaning that the Badgers begin their Big Ten schedule a Saturday before the rest of the conference. Two other non-Big-Ten teams will also make their way to Madison. Massachusetts will make the trip on the last day of August, kicking off the Badgers season, before Tennessee Tech visits the following week. Wisconsin’s first away game comes against their third out-of-conference opponent in as many games, Arizona State, who they will meet on September fourteenth.
The Badgers head into five consecutive conference games starting with Purdue at Camp Randall on the twenty-first. They play their first conference opponent away from home on the twenty-eighth, when they play the Buckeyes in Columbus. October is a strange month for the team, as they play just two games, four days apart. Northwestern comes to town on the twelfth, before the Badgers travel south to face Illinois on the nineteenth. The Badgers then wait nearly two weeks before playing the Hawkeyes on November second in Iowa. Wisconsin wraps up the final full month of play with home games against Brigham Young, Indiana, and Penn State. Those three match-ups are straddled by an away game against Minnesota on the twenty-third, and the Big-Ten Championship game in Indianapolis on December seventh.

When you think of classic rock, you have to give a nod to the band Journey. Journey will perform at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on November 16. They will be joined by none other than Pat Benatar, and Loverboy. Journey has two dozen gold and platinum records to their name. They wrote nearly 20 hit songs, and their fans still come out in the thousands to see them perform live. Arnel Pineda is now their singer, and the band hasn’t skipped a beat. Purists might think that this is not the real Journey, but once you hear Pineda belt out the chorus to Don’t Stop Believing, you will forget all about their former singer Steve Perry. Their original drummer Steve Smith was also replaced, as he didn’t think that the band was the same without Perry.
Pat Benatar and Loverboy Join Journey on 2012 Tour
Pat Benatar is also on this star studded rock tour. Benatar is known for her hit songs such as Hit Me With Your Best Shot, and We Belong. Benatar is joined by Neil Geraldo. Together, they wrote great songs, and will not disappoint fans of 1980’s of rock ballads. If that wasn’t enough, Loverboy will be on the bill. Loverboy is a band that has sold over ten million records, mostly before 1987. Their most widely known album is titled Get Lucky. Tickets are on sale now.
Do you have “Bieber Fever?” Justin Bieber comes to the BMO Harris Bradley Center on 10/21, and Ticket King has great seats. Checkout the special floor seating layout for this show. Bieber’s stage will have a walkway that extends nearly fifty feet along the center of the main floor. Sit in sections one, two, or three, and you will surely get a close up view of this young, talented singer. Looking for a budget priced Justin Bieber ticket? We have seating in the upper level, that is priced just right.
Justin Bieber is now four years into his singing career, and is one of the most popular pop singers to come out of Canada. From the moment My World was released, Justin took a rocket ride to the top of the charts. Without a doubt, he’s a teen idol to millions of kids. All it took was an accidental viewing of one of his early videos by a powerful marketing manager, and the rest is history.
His current tour is titled “Believe.” He starts the tour in Glendale Arizona on September 29. This kid doesn’t stop the fun until March 23, in Bologna. He will take a break in December, but fans might see some additional bookings for that month. If you miss the Milwaukee show, have no fear. He has two dates scheduled for the Rosemont IL – Allstate Arena on 10/23 and 10/24. See you at the BMO Harris Bradley Center!

Finding Packers Tickets
Need help finding the right ticket? When they say that there are no bad seats at Lambeau Field, “they” are telling the truth. From the top row of the end zone, to the fifty yard line, the views of the field are amazing. One of our customers told us that they bought a pair of tickets in the upper-most row at the goal line, and had no problem seeing a rainbow throw completion from Aaron Rodgers to Donald Driver on the opposite side of the field. The NFL experience in Green Bay is like none other.
Packers away game tickets are no problem for Ticket King. We would be happy to provide you with a number of options for any venue. Do you want to see the Packers take on the Bears at Soldier Field? Call our Milwaukee or Green Bay office. We can walk you through the available sections, seating, and prices of any Packers away game. If you want tickets in hand before you head out on the road, we can do that too.
Ticket King is located just southwest of Cathedral Square Park. That’s a good thing, becuase we are so close to Bastille Days 2012. It all started with the 5k run last night, and ends on Sunday night. In between that time, over 200,000 people will walk the streets of downtown Milwuakee, taking in the French and Cajun fun.
Do you have a craving for French food? How about some solid cajun cooking? It’s all here this weekend. The business crowd will surely take advantage of the lunch options, even if that means a trip out into the hot summer sun. The festival starts at 11am each day. For those of you who just love to shop, there will be retail vendors lining the streets. There will be music and live entertainment throughout the weekend. Check the Bastille Days website for specific info.
It’s not truly summer until you see the Dave Matthews Band live at a beautiful outdoor venue in the wilderness. In case you have forgotten, Dave Matthews Band will perform this Friday and Saturday at Alpine Valley (a beautiful outdoor venue in the wilderness). Ticket King Milwaukee can help you find great Dave Matthews Band Alpine Valley tickets for both Friday and Saturday night.
Upon conclusion of this summer tour, the Dave Matthews Band will release its 8th studio album. I bet you will hear some previews of this album this weekend at Alpine Valley. The Dave Matthews Band has long reigned as the champion of live concerts and you can expect to hear old favorites paired with new hits, served with a side of new improvisations. No two Dave Matthews Band concerts are alike and that is an impressive feat for a band that has been touring since the early 1990s. If you do decide to see Dave Matthews this weekend at Alpine Valley, just remember to leave with plenty of time to get to East Troy. Traffic can move a little slow as you get close to the venue, so if you’re planning to tailgate, keep that in mind.
