Performing on the Marcus Amphitheater stage on June 30 will be none other than Pitbull. Summerfest fans are happy to see his return. His 2012 album, titled “Global Warming” has two top ten hits: Back In Time and Feel This Moment. That song got a huge boost from Christina Aguilera, and the band A-ha. Fans of hip-house and dance-pop will be scrambling for Pitbull tickets.
Pitbull has managed to take the best of some very famous songs, going all the way back to the 1956 hit titled Love is Strange. That’s a song you don’t think that you know until you hear it. Other notable artists whose tracks were copied include Cheryl Crow, Los del Rio, and TJR. After all, most house music is a mashup of well known music.
Pitbull Global Warming Album and Tour
The Global Warming album almost didn’t see the light of day. Pitbull was signed to a label that was shutting down. He managed to get the disk released on RCA. He didn’t release the disk on the label that he co-owns with Sean “Diddy” Combs, as that’s more of a Latin hip hop endeavor. Pitbull’s opener has yet to be announced. Rest assured, someone will be along for the ride. Pitbull will spend most of the upcoming summer on tour. Later tour dates have yet to be announced.
