Summerfest announced one of their biggest shows for 2014. It will be Lady Gaga at the Marcus Amphitheater on June 26th. Summerfest tickets for Lady Gaga are available on our Ticket King website this week. The ARTPOP tour will be in full swing by this summer, and it starts on May 4 at the B and T Center in Florida. Gaga swings through the Midwest during the summer months, with dates in San Diego, San Jose in early June, and the Summerfest date after that, it looks like the ARTPOP tour will be filling a few more show dates in the near future.

Lady Gaga appeals to fans of all ages, with one of the flashiest shows currently on tour. She doesn’t call it a “Music – Fashion – Dance – Party” for nothing. It’s all of that and more. One of the more remarkable events on the Gaga tour will take place on April 7th, when she will be the final act at the Roseland Ballroom in New York. Tickets for the Roseland show will surely go fast.

Pink fans are gearing up for her January 9th show at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee. As she had postponed the original date, the wait has been longer than first expected. The opening act is none other than New Politics. This is part of her Truth About Love tour, and there are roughly twenty more show dates before she takes a well deserved break. Back in October, Pink was battling inflamed vocal cords. She was forced to rest her “pipes” for a while, and moved eight show dates into January of 2014.

As usual, her current show is filled with acrobatic dancers, flames, and flashy stage effects. Not that Pink needs any of that. Her powerful voice is more than enough to attract fans from all over the world. The stage show is just a bonus!

Way back when, “Pink” was in a girl band called Choice. Fast forward a few years, and Pink has become one of the most popular solo artists currently on tour. With over 100 million records sold, she’s fast becoming an icon in pop music. In her early years, she was a gymnast, and tried out for various all girl groups. The Green Bay Packers take on the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field this Sunday. The outcome of the game means much more to the Packers than it does to the Vikings. With a victory against Minnesota, and one more week for Rodgers to heal, things could be looking good for the Packers versus Lions matchup on Thanksgiving Day.

Badgers Take Down Gators In Home Opener At The Kohl Center

It’s early in the season, but after last night Badgers basketball fans got a great idea of what the team is capable of. They took down the 11th ranked Florida Gators at the Kohl Center last night. Early in the game, it didn’t look so great, but by half time, the Badgers were in control. What was the key to victory? Three point shooting, and just enough rebounding to take the edge off Florida.

When you scan the stats, Wisconsin and Florida finished the evening looking pretty even in every category but one. That would be three point completion percentage. Wisconsin ended the evening with a .450 three- point shooting percentage, while Florida managed just .357. The Badgers struggled early in the game, but came back swiftly, and was in the lead at half time. It must be noted that Florida was without three key players. Damontre Harris, Dorian Finney-Smith, and Scottie Wilbekin all sat out last night’s game. Catching Florida now might have helped Wisconsin with the victory.

Sophomore forward Sam Dekker was hot last night. He finished the night with 16 points and a pair of rebounds. Ben Brust was a force under the hoop. He pulled down nine rebounds in the contest, and scored eleven points. His field goal shooting percentage sits at a dismal .424, but that’s probably the only weakness he has right now. The Badgers ended the night with 31 rebounds, and scored 20 points in the paint. Now it’s on to Green Bay for an in-state contest on November 16.

Packers Games At County Stadium | Notable Green Bay Games In Milwaukee

Milwaukee became the Green Bay Packers home-away-from-homeduring the 1953 season. In the midst of the first Packers “dark age” between 1945 and 1958, the occasional Packers game played in Milwaukee was meant to drum-up fan support and extra revenue for the struggling team. Dismal team play, beginning in the late 1940’s had taken its toll on the once dominant organization, which was facing a dwindling fan-base at Green Bay’s City Stadium.

Gene Ronziani was the first Packers head coach to lead the team at what was then the newly built County Stadium in Milwaukee. Green Bay had played in the metro Milwaukee area before. They played at State Fair Park and at Marquette University, going as far back as 1933. Ronziani managed just two wins in that 1953 season, losing the inaugural meeting in Milwaukee to Cleveland 27-to-0.

Despite the best efforts of the Packers throughout the late 1950s (including a franchise worst 1-and-10 in 1958,) attendance at the team’s games in Milwaukee was steady. The team would play in front of twice the size of the average crowd at Green Bay’s City Stadium. County Stadium also provided the players with modern locker-rooms and the franchise with concessions revenue. Playing games in Milwaukee helped the team to raise over $100,000 something needed to avoid a looming bankruptcy. The league took notice of the additional revenue prompting those same officials to threaten a permanent move to Milwaukee if the team could not build a new stadium in Green Bay.

New City Stadium was the result. It was part of a city-wide referendum that passed in Green Bay. The team had a modern place to play, and the team was now coached by Lisle Blackhorn. Vice President Richard Nixon broke-ground at the site on the day of the team’s 1957 home opener against Chicago. The Packers won that game 21-17, though they would only manage two more wins on the entire season. Not until Vince Lombardi took-over the team in 1959 would they see their first winning season in over 12 years.

Even with the avoidance of a permanent move to Milwaukee, the organization continued to play at County Stadium until December 1994. The Atlanta Falcons were the last team to meet the Packers at County Stadium. Quarterback Brett Favre helped the Packers win one last time at County Stadium with a 9-yard touchdown run in the waning seconds of the fourth quarter.

Jay Cutler Out For Upcoming Packers Game

When Chris Baker sacked Jay Cutler during the October 20th game, it looked like a “nothing special” play. Cutler didn’t get up from the turf, and that’s when Bears fans knew something was amiss. Cutler suffered a groin injury on that play, and he will miss a few more weeks of play. He hopes to make it back in the next three weeks, but doctors are saying that it will be a month before he can return to the field. This also happens to be Cutler’s last season before he and the Bears begin contract talks. A swift return that results in a re injured groin could devalue his future earnings. But Cuter isn’t seeing things that way. He wants to get back to the game as soon as possible.

Matthews Out For Monday Night

Clay Matthews is certain to be out for the the Bears game. Matthews is still dealing with a broken thumb that came about during the Lions game on October 6. If he gets back into the lineup next week, that would mean he was out for just as long as predicted. In the meantime, A.J. Hawk has impressed fans with his performance. One big mishap for Hawk was when he failed to stop Adrian Peterson from scoring just before the half last week. Considering how many Packers linebackers are out, the remaining healthy players have done pretty well.

James Jones Still Recovering

James Jones has not practiced as of this week. That doesn’t mean that he’s out for Monday night, but all indications are that he will be sidelined once again. The injury to his knee is healing, and nobody wants him to rush back into the game. As of this posting, Jones has twenty catches and two touchdowns. Against Baltimore, Jones had just one catch before going down with a knee sprain. Who has stepped up in his place? Jarrett Boykin certainly has. Boykin has over a dozen catches in the last two games. The final act of the evening will be a Michael Jackson versus Prince dance party. We’re not sure what that’s all about, but it sounds quite interesting.

Admirals Tickets For Home Opener October 11 | Milwaukee Admirals Promotional Schedule 2013

The Milwaukee Admirals are ready to kick-off their 35^thseason in the American Hockey League on Friday, October 11. Following a loss in their final preseason match against the Iowa Wild last week, the Admirals open the 2013 season in Canada at the Abbotsford Heat. Earlier this week, the staff at the BMO Harris Bradley Center were prepping the ice for the team’s home-opener on coming up against Chicago. The frozen rink will be the only permanent structure at the downtown venue for the seven-month season, as other surfaces set for basketball and music performances will be laid right on top.

The Admirals preseason finale in Iowa looked like it would end on a high note until the Wild’s Taylor Matson scored an equalizing goal with just four minutes remaining in the third period. Milwaukee defenseman Scott Ford put a puck past goalie Darcy Kuemper early in the first to manage the Admirals sole score of the night, failing to capitalize on their only powerplay of the game later in the period.

Iowa came away empty from four of their own power plays during regulation, though a penalty in overtime to the Admirals Miikka Salomaki was the catalyst for a game-ending goal by forward Zack Phillips. The night’s slow play was highlighted by a stellar performance from Admirals reserve goalkeeper Marek Mazanec. Taking the place of starter Magnus Hellberg 30-minutes into play, Mazanec stopped 20 of the 22 shots he faced, including seven in overtime.

The Netminder corps of the Admirals 2013 roster is one of their strongest in years. A strong backup in Mazanec, the team holds a 2012 top-five performer in the Swede Hellberg. Drafted by NHL affiliate Nashville in 2011, Hellberg has stopped 916 of nearly 1000 shots against him since then, and is expected get the call to play behind the Predators Pekka Rinne soon.

Returning Admirals Lead The Charge

Others returning from last season’s playoff team include top scorer Austin Watson, who managed an Admirals-best 20 goals in his rookie year in 2012. Also a familiar face, the team’s leading assist-man forward Taylor Beck will be back in 2013. Beck is part of a trio of Admirals to have gotten late-season promotions to Nashville last year who will be back in the AHL in 2013; the other two are Joonas Rask and Kevin Henderson.

The coveted Calder Cup is the priority for the end of the 2013 season, a feat the team fell short of last year with four losses in the first round of the postseason. Though, maintaining the Admirals diligent fan-base is an equally as important goal say officials at the organization. One of the most attended farm-teams in the league, the Admirals have again partnered with a number of sponsors to host five fan-promotions this season.

Milwaukee Bucks Begin First Week Of Camp | New Bucks Squad Comes Together

The revamped Milwaukee Bucks and new head coach Larry Drew concluded the first week of camp this week with the Bucks annual Fun Fest on Saturday. The open practice featured scrimmages, drills, fan interaction, and much more for the over 1,000 that filled the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The day was also the first time fans got to see the new MECCA floor-inspired court played on since it was debuted last month.

Drew was pleased with his new team heading into Saturday’s event. Following a week of practice including private scrimmages on Thursday and a defensive focus on Friday, the head coach told reporters he was excited about the prospects this season. Point guard Brandon Knight echoed those thoughts, though he admitted that there were still kinks to work out for the relatively unfamiliar 19 faces in camp this year.

Larry Sanders was one of just four players on the court at Fan Fest who wore a Bucks jersey last season. He and Knight teamed up with O.J. Mayo, Ersan Ilyasova, and Caron Butler for two 12-minute scrimmages against Gary Neal, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Olek Czyk, Luke Ridnour, and John Henson to highlight the day. The ten were supported by a bench featuring the likes of Nate Wolters and Marquette’s Junior Cadougan.

Dubbed the black team, Sanders and his teammates for the day are expected to be one of the starting-line options for Drew this season. The five lost a scrimmage on Thursday to Neal’s and Antetokounmpo’s second-line, though redeemed themselves in-front of the home crowd with a 41-29 win. Knight led the game with nine points, followed by Sanders with eight.

First round draft pick Antetokounmpo put-up seven points for the white team in their unsuccessful effort against the starters. Fellow rookie Wolters led the bench with five. The pair took a break from the action to join fans in a free-throw contest during a timeout. Shooting with a teammate from the audience, the rookies kept the competition close, though Antetokounmpo and his partner narrowly won by a margin of 13-to-12.

Bucks Squad Without Udoh and Delfino

Notable absences from Saturday’s Fan Fest included returning power forward Epke Udoh, Carlos Delfino, and Zaza Pachulia. Udoh was the only unconfirmed omission prior to Saturday, as Delfino and Pachulia were both sidelined earlier in the week. Staff for the team could only reveal that Udoh complained of soreness that morning. Former Piston forward Khris Middleton was the bright spot on the injury report Saturday, returning to participate fully despite spraining an ankle on Wednesday.

Milwaukee Brewers 2014 Full Schedule | Ticket King Wisconsin

An exciting home-stand against the Braves will begin the Milwaukee Brewers 45^th year in the majors. The team announced their full 2014 schedule earlier this month, revealing a mixture of enticing interleague play, two exhibition games, and the return of a number of forgotten opponents to Miller Park.

The Brewers 2014 schedule starts on Monday, March 31^st. Atlanta visits until that Wednesday, before the Brewers head to Boston for their first away-series of the year. The team stays on the east coast for another meeting in Philadelphia, and then returns to Miller Park to open divisional play against Pittsburgh.

Fans will have a chance to see their team prior to the start of the regular season at Miller Park as they take on the Kansas City Royals in a pair of exhibition games on March 28^th and 29^th.

Following the series at the Red Sox, the Brewers remaining interleague schedule is one of their best in years. The team plays the entire American League East through May, June, and July, including their first games in Toronto and Tampa Bay in nearly a decade. Baltimore makes their first trip to Miller Park since 2008 as part of the interleague schedule, and a rare home-and-away two-game series against Minnesota is the highlight.

There is no love lost between the Brewers and their division rivals St. Louis and Chicago. In 2014, Milwaukee plays 13 unique series against their fellow NL-Central counterparts, in addition to multiple meetings with the Reds and the Pirates. The Brewers host 11 consecutive games at Miller Park in September for their longest home-stand of the season. From the 4^thto the 14^th, the Cardinals, the Marlins, and the Reds travel to Milwaukee. The 10-day schedule is straddled by a pair of 9-game away-series.

Marking the last road-trips of the year, the Brewers take-on the Padres, San Francisco, and Chicago from August 25^th to September 3^rd. Then, following the home-stand, the team meets in St. Louis, Pittsburgh, and Cincinnati from September 15^th to the 24^th. The Brewers end the 2014 season at Miller Park against the Cubs on Sunday, September 27^th.
