Headline Shows For Summerfest 2015 Side Stages


Side Stage Acts Summerfest 2015
Ever year, the Marcus Amphitheater at Summerfest is the main attraction. However, there are many other good acts that headline all the other stages.  From the Miller Lite stage, to the Harley Davidson stage, U.S. Cellular and more, there is music to be found all over the Summerfest grounds.
One such stage is the BMO Harris Pavilion. Country music singer Sheryl Crow will be performing at the BMO Harris Pavilion on June 24that 10 p.m. Crow is a country music singer who also, like many other country music singers, incorporates other genres into her music such as pop and rock. Crow has sold more than 50 million albums in her career. She has also performed with many notable acts such as the Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, George Strait, Kid Rock, Eric Clapton, and the late BB King. Crow is currently on a tour that will coincide with her Summerfest appearance.

Another stage is the Miller Lite Oasis. Lupe Fiasco will be performing at the Miller Lite Oasis on July 3 at 10:15 p.m. Lupe Fiasco, real name Wasalu Muhammad Jaco, was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 16, 1982. Lupe Fiasco got his big break when he met Jay-Z. Jay-Z helped Fiasco get a record deal, as he eventually signed with Atlantic Records, one of the major production labels out there. In addition to being a rapper, Fiasco is also an entrepreneur, and he is the CEO of First and Fifteenth Entertainment Company.
Another stage is the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard. Country Music singer Martina McBride will be performing at the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard on June 28 at 9 p.m. Martina McBride was born July 29, 1966 in the small town of Sharon, Kansas. Throughout her career McBride has made 12 studio albums and sold over 14 million copies in the United States. She has won the Country Music Association’s Female Vocalist of the Year award four times, which is tied with Reba McEntire and Miranda Lambert for the most wins.
Another stage is the Uline Warehouse. Alternative rock band OK Go will be performing here on Thursday, July 2 at 10 p.m. OK Go was originally founded in Chicago, Illinois, and consists for four members- Damian Kulash, Tim Nordwind, Dan Konopka, and Andy Ross. In the past Andy Duncan has been a part of the band. In total, OK Go has made four studio albums- OK Go, which was released in 2002, Oh No, released in 2005, Of the Blue Colour of the Sky, released in 2010, and Hungry Ghosts, released in 2014.
What’s on tap at the Harley Davidson Roadhouse? Legendary guitarist Buddy Guy will be performing at the Harley Davidson Roadhouse at 9:45 p.m. On July 27. Guy is widely considered to be one of the best guitarists who ever lived, and on Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of 100 greatest guitarists of all time, Guy is listed at number 78. Buddy Guy was originally born in Lettsworth, Louisiana on July 30, 1936. His genres are the Blues, specifically Chicago Blues and the Electric Blues. Buddy Guy’s career was heavily influenced by the great Muddy Waters after moving to Chicago in the 1950’s.
