Dierks Bentley comes to Summerfest 2017 on July 7th. Once again, he’s headlining the American Family Insurance Amphitheater. Opening for Bentley will be Jon Pardi and Cole Swindell. This tour is in support of his 2016 album titled “Black.” What’s Bentley all about? Having a good time.
Is Dierks Bentley popular enough to headline Summerfest? Well, he’s got 25 hit songs, 15 of which have hit number one on the country charts. Bentley has been going strong since 2003, when he released his second album. Not too many fans recall his 2001 effort, so we’ll start at 2003.
Dierks Bentley Discography
In 2001, Bentley released “Don’t Leave Me in Love” a forgettable effort that didn’t make a splash. He released that album on his own, and then included a pair of songs from that disk on his first major label debut. 2003 saw the release of a self titled album that made a splash in the country music scene. He followed that up with “Modern Day Drifter” in 2005. He had two number one hit songs from that album.
One year later, Long Trip Alone was released. He had a #1 hit song that year, and went on to release his greatest hits album in 2008. Every Mile a Memory was the follow up disk to his greatest hits, and it failed to crack the top ten. From there, he would go on to release five more albums, which brings us to 2016. All tickets for Dierks Bentley include admission to the entire Summerfest grounds.
