Restaurants in the Titletown District

During Packers season or throughout the year, Titletown has 5 amazing places to eat: 46 Below, Hinterland Restaurant and Brewery, Leaps and Bounds, Taverne in the Sky, and The Turn. Each place offers unique culinary experiences. In this post, we’ll cover 46 Below, Hinterland Restaurant and Brewery, and Taverne in the Sky.

46 Below for a Quick Bite

46 Below gets its unique name from the famous 1967 Ice Bowl game where the wind chill brought the temperature down to 46 below zero. It is also located 46 feet below the top of Ariens Hill. Their simple menu consists of sandwiches, wraps, salads, cafe bites, beverages, and cheese curds. There are also great food options for children. This frozen themed bistro is the perfect place for visitors to grab something to eat without committing to a long sit down meal. Have a quick bite at 46 below and get back to the action.

Hinterland Restaurant and Brewery

Hinterland Restaurant and Brewery is an award-winning brewery and restaurant that has been wowing Green Bay since 1995. Founded by two Wisconsinites who opened their first location in an old cheese factory, Hinterland is now the epitome of local cuisine.  Hinterland’s dining experiences can range from a multi-course feast or just a quick bite. They also serve fantastic burgers, tacos, and wood-fired pizza. Fresh is what best describes Hinterland. They proudly showcase their direct access to local growers and ranchers. They focus on “Farms, Forks and Sustainable Stories.” On top of that, they bring in fresh fish and seafood from both coasts. While the restaurant at Hinterland is truly exceptional that isn’t their only focus, as they boast an impressive brewery. We highly recommend checking out their Brewery and Beer Hall, as it is “Fashioned after a German Brauhaus, with an urban twist, and better sense of humor.” Their brewery produces 20,000 bottles annually. The Beer Hall serves Hinterland taps, craft beers, and unique daily beer menus. Grab a table in their High Gravity Kitchen, or sit outdoors on the heated patio.

Tavern in the Sky

Located on the fifth floor of Lodge Kohler, a top rated luxury hotel located 100 yards from Lambeau Field, Taverne in the Sky brings you a truly exceptional dining experience. The Taverne in the Sky features a panoramic restaurant and bar with views of the beautiful Titletown landscape. Their chefs serve up signature dishes like dry-rubbed wings, herb rotisserie chicken, and spit-roasted prime rib, paired with highly rated wines from around the globe. Enjoy a meal in their beautiful indoor dining environment, or sit around the outdoor terrace which boasts a direct view of Lambeau Field. For those looking to elevate all their senses, Lodge Kohler features a spa with amenities such as hot tubs, saunas, and hydro massage. Enjoy a relaxing spa day, great views of Lambeau Field’s exterior, and an excellent meal all in one place. Taverne in the Sky is truly a picturesque location that will wow any patron.

Hy-Vee Plaza is another fantastic place to sit back and enjoy the day. The Plaza is adjacent to Ariens Hill, runs along the south side of Hinterland Brewery and The Turn restaurant. The plaza plays host to a variety of events and programs throughout the warmer months. The plaza turns into an ice skating rink in colder months. Purchase a skating pass and slip and slide around the rink while Packers fans cheer inside the stadium.

Athletic Fun on the Field and the Courts

The Football Field, Game Courts, and 40-yard dash can be great places to get your body moving while having some fun. One amazing feature of Titletown is the full-size football field. Come throw Hail Mary passes or host a pick-up game and imitate your favorite Packers stars.
