Stevie Wonder Summerfest June 27 Tickets | Ticket King Inc.
Stevie Wonder will be on tour in 2015, and playing his entire “Songs In The Key Of Life” album.Wonder’s tour will include dates in April, and then more dates this summer. The Summerfest show date is set for June 27. Tickets for the Summerfest show are on sale as of this Saturday. As most fans know, Stevie Wonder was a child prodigy, signed by Motown Records in the early 1960’s. That’s how he got the label “Little Stevie Wonder.” At that age, he needed help with songwriting, and production. He produced Tribute to Uncle Ray and The Jazz Soul of Little Stevie. During his early teen years, he struggled with a voice that was changing. He also spent some time working in the background for Motown, writing songs for other artists. In 1968, Wonder’s popularity started to skyrocket. His co writer, Henry Cosby wrote songs such as My Cherie Amor, one song that became a hit when he reached the age of 20. In 1972, Stevie Wonder wrote “Superstition.” That song put Wonder back on the map. Four years later, Songs in the Key of Life was released. It was a massive effort on behalf of Wonder, and it was his crowning achievement. That double album will be the theme of the Summerfest show in June. -

Kendrick Lamar Plays Summerfest 2015 | Ticket King Inc.

Photo: K. Metso Summerfest announced another headline show for 2015. It will be Kendrick Lamar at the Marcus Amphitheater on July 1. Lamar released his third album just this past week. It’s titled “To Pimp a Butterfly.” Kendrick won two Grammy’s this past February, and has firmly established himself as one of the best rappers in the country. His style comes off as cool, calm, and focused. Don’t let that style fool you, Lamar himself claims that he’s out to be the best. So far, most people who see him perform agree with that notion. Opening for Lamar will be “SchoolboyQ.”
From the start of his career, Kendrick Lamar had a focus. He felt that the current state of rap music was not good. He felt that the most popular rappers had gone soft. Lamar wanted to get back to what he felt was the best part of rap, the crafting of words into amazing lines. He takes no prisoners when it comes to competing with other rappers. It got so bad for those he went up against, that they soon left Lamar to work on his own. Nobody could compete at his level. Soon enough, he was signed to a record label, TDE to be exact. That was when Lamar worked under the name of K-Dot.
In 2012, Lamar released “good kid, m.A.A.d city.” Top Dawg entertainment pulled Lamar out of “indie label” obscurity, and Lamar was looking at a top 20 song on the rap charts by August of 2012. In just six short months since the release, Lamar’s album went gold. Summerfest is happy to have Kendrick Lamar as one of their headline acts in 2015.

Packers Re-Sign Cobb | NFL Free Agent Moves 2015
Ticket King thought it might be nice to have our favorite sports writer take a moment to comment on one of pro football’s craziest times of the year. Free agent signings are in full swing. Here is “Tim’s take” on some of the highlights.Well, it’s that strange time of the year in pro football. It’s the “NFL free agency” period, also known as a time in which teams throw money around like drunken sailors with no regard for common sense. The Packers made some headlines recently when they re-signed Randall Cobb to a four year, 40 million dollar contract. Apparently Cobb had more offers on the table but took less money to stay in Green Bay. So with information, we won’t call that a crazy move by either the Packers nor Randall Cobb. Let’s take a look at some other notable free agents and my prediction for their landing destinations.
Andre Johnson– The Texans released longtime fan favorite Andre Johnson. Even though he is old, he may still have something left in the tank. I believe he ends up in New England.Reggie Wayne– The Colts decided recently to let the last piece from the Peyton Manning era, wide receiver Reggie Wayne, go, after 14 seasons. It is very likely Wayne elects to retire as he is coming off a major injury.Brian Bulaga– This year’s market for offensive lineman is thin. Still, I expect Bulaga back in Green Bay.Jeremy Maclin– This is another wide receiver who is an unrestricted free agent. He fits Chip Kelly’s system well. He returns to the Eagles.Torrey Smith– The Ravens elected not to re-sign Torrey Smith, who was an integral part of their recent Super bowl run. Smith is a younger player who could sign a long term contract with the Colts, and develop a relationship with franchise quarterback Andrew Luck.Julius Thomas– The Broncos elected not to re-sign one of Peyton Manning’s favorite targets. Thomas is likely headed to Jacksonville.Bruce Carter– The Cowboys defense needs work. Still, he wasn’t the problem, and a return to Dallas is likely.Darrell Revis– The Vikings need cornerbacks bad, and if they don’t add another one, they are going to continue to lose divisional games to the Lions and Packers. Revis ends up in Minnesota. -

Ed Sheeran Plays Summerfest 2015 July 3 | Ticket King Inc.

Photo Credit: Man Alive! It’s understandable that Ed Sheeran is one of the hottest singers around right now. His music is easy to like. Sheeran is headlining Summerfest 2015 on July 3. Although he is quite young, he’s already found himself to be a multi platinum, award winning musician. His first album, titled “+” came out in 2011. Since then, he’s written music for films, television, and pop stars such as One Direction, and more. He’s since been nominated for over ninety music related awards, but the one that stands out the most is his 2015 Grammy nomination for the song “I See Fire.”Sheeran trained his voice by singing in his church choir, and worked very hard at his craft during his high school years. His first foray into the music business started out just like most others, when he released his work without a record label backing him up. In 2005, he put out an EP titled The Orange Room. Four years later, he released yet another EP, this one titled You Need Me. Two years later, Sheeran took a huge risk, and flew to Los Angeles to play on any stage that would have him. He was discovered soon after, and was on his way to release a couple more independently produced disks, before signing to Asylum Records in 2012.Sheeran Releases “X” and Fans Go Wild
Sheeran has only released two full length albums so far. One is titled “+” and the other “x.” The “X” stands for “multiply.” He’s currently backing up the “X” release by touring through 2015. See him on the Marcus Amphitheater in July! -
Keith Urban Summerfest Tickets | Ticket King Inc.
Keith Urban comes to Summerfest 2015, on June 26. Tickets for his Summerfest show can be found here. Urban has been a force in country music since the late 1990’s. He “earned his stripes” by performing all across Australia, as a country music singer and song writer. He wasn’t afraid to mix a bit of rock and roll into his music, and today, he can still “mix it up” with the best in the music industry.
Keith Urban came to Nashville just a couple of years into his career. The lure of that location was very strong, and Nashville took him in with open arms. By the year 2000, he had his first #1 hit song! It’s titled “But For The Grace of God.” He doubled his hit output with the very next album. Someone Like You and Who Wouldn’t Want to Be Me, both hit the top of the charts in 2002.
Urban wasn’t one to grab the “solo spotlight” just yet. He enjoyed touring with other country stars like Kenny Chesney, and Brook & Dunn. Within five short years, he won the “Entertainer of the Year” award from the Country Music Association. By 2006, he found himself holding a Grammy, and giving an acceptance speech for “Best Male Vocalist of the Year.” His latest tour starts in June and runs through most of September. His stop at the Summerfest grounds will also include opening acts such as Phillip Philips.

Motley Crue Comes To Milwaukee in 2015 | Ticket King Inc.
It’s been over a year since Motley Crue announced that this would be their last tour, ever. The band has been on the road for months, and they return to Milwaukee in 2015. Crue fans laughed along with the band when they signed their crazy death pact. This tour and these shows will be the very last.
Motley Crue formed in 1981. This L.A. based band has remained active throughout the decades, taking breaks here and there, but never calling it quits for good. In their first few years, Nikki Sixx was working on and off with Tommy Lee. Eventually, Vince Neil and Mick Mars joined in the effort, and Motley Crue was on their way.
Motley Crue 2015 Tour
The last leg of the very last Motley Crue tour will begin on July 22, in Eugene Oregon. The band will travel along the western states for the last ten days of July, then head to the Midwest in August. The Milwaukee show date is set for August 7, at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The final show will be on December 31, 2015 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This is your last chance to see the band, and they mean it.
