Summer is just around the corner and that means time to start planning trips to great outdoor music venues like Alpine Valley! Time to get my Alpine Valley concert tickets. We’re lucky to have a great outdoor venue like Alpine Valley here in Wisconsin and I’m glad it’s not too far from Milwaukee! It’s so easy to get there on I-43. The only thing I suggest when going to a show at Alpine Valley is allow yourself plenty of time to get there. The road gets a little congested right around the entrance to Alpine Valley, so it’s best to leave early. You don’t want to spend precious tailgating time waiting in a car line to get into the parking lot.
This year’s Alpine Valley music lineup features classic bands that are Alpine Valley veterans. I’m excited to see such a strong lineup as last year’s was pretty thin. Four bands have been booked for Alpine Valley this year: Phish, Dave Matthews Band, and KISS & Motley Crue. Phish will perform for two nights on Saturday, June 30th and Sunday, July 1st. Dave Matthews Band will take the stage for two nights on Friday, July 6th and Saturday, July 7th. The Tour: KISS & Motley Crue happens on Saturday, September 8th. Two-night shows are always a blast especially if you like camping. I’ve never camped at Alpine Valley before, but maybe this year will be the year!
