When it comes to Green Bay Packers tickets, we get this question a lot: what is the difference between the green and gold packages? Depending on whether or not you are a Green Bay Packers season ticket holder, you may have heard the distinction between the green package and the gold package. If you don’t know the difference between the two packages, you will in a moment! The two different ticket packages started when the Packers used to play their games at both Lambeau Field and County Stadium. Season ticket packages were offered for Lambeau Field games and County Stadium games. When the Packers moved all of their games to Lambeau Field, the Milwaukee season ticket holders were offered a 3-game package deal known as the “gold package.” The remaining games are the games allocated to Green Bay season ticket holders, also known as the “green package.” This year’s gold package games are the Packers/Cardinals preseason game on Friday, the Packers/Broncos game on October 2nd, and the Packers/Buccaneers game on November 20th.

How about those Milwaukee Brewers? Last night, the Brewers made a triple play, something that rarely happens in baseball. The Brewers went on to defeat the LA Dodgers 3-0, stretching their division lead over the St. Louis Cardinals to 6 games. Last night’s win also marks the 17th win for the Brewers in their last 19 games. The moral of the story? You need to get your Milwaukee Brewers tickets now, to catch these amazing Brewers in action! Who knows, you might even get to see a playoffs game or two! I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but wouldn’t it be great if the World Series was in Milwaukee?

It’s almost Badger football season! That means it’s time to remove your red Badger clothes from storage and buff up on your jump around moves. The 2011 Wisconsin Badgers Football schedule has been available for awhile, but I thought I’d share it with you again so you can start figuring out which games you would like to attend. Wisconsin will host the newest addition to the Big Ten this year, the Nebraska Cornhuskers. That game is shaping up to be the game of the season! Here is the fully 2011 Wisconsin Badgers schedule:

The Green Bay Packers preseason kicks off this Saturday with a game against the Cleveland Browns in Cleveland. Green Bay Packers preseason tickets are available for all four preseason games. The preseason games are a great opportunity for Packers fans to get over to Lambeau Field and experience its charms at a very affordable price. Not to mention the weather will still be nice! I just might take this opportunity to sit at the 50 yard line just behind the Packers bench. Since it will be warm, I won’t even have to wear a sweater over my Rodgers jersey. While the preseason doesn’t have many implications for the regular season, it’s still fun to watch the Packers in action.

Now, I might be dating myself a little bit, but Janet Jackson was the first person I ever saw in concert. She came to Summerfest in the mid-90s and I was more than thrilled when my best friend invited me to go to the Marcus Amphitheater with her mom to see her concert. I had her CD and listened to it non-stop on my disc-man. I think I just might have to go see her this Sunday, especially since I’m old enough to go by myself (and purchase adult beverages, too). While Janet hasn’t released a CD recently, she has a great repertoire to draw from. The Milwaukee Theatre is a great venue for concerts so if you haven’t seen a show there, you should check it out!

Treat yourself to an evening of beautiful singing by the internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter, Josh Groban. Tomorrow night’s concert is a part of Groban’s Straight To You tour which promotes his latest album, Illuminations. Tickets for tomorrow night’s concert can be picked up in our downtown Milwaukee office until 6 PM.
