Wicked tickets for Milwaukee are available now. The touring version of the Broadway musical is not to be missed. The show runs from June 12 to July 7, at the Marcus Center. Show times vary depending on the day, with Matinee performances limited to weekends.
What’s Wicked all about? It’s a twist on the lives of Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the North, and Glinda the Good Witch. Fans of the Wizard of Oz will surely remember these names, as they were some of the featured characters in Frank Baum’s book of the same name. Few fans know that the first Broadway version of the Wizard of Oz came out in 1903, and ran for nearly 300 performances. Most folks remember the 1939 movie version, starring Judy Garland.
It’s fitting that exactly 100 years later, a new Broadway production based on the lives of the two witches of Oz has attracted huge audiences and has gone on to be the recipient of numerous Tony Awards. After just one year, Wicked became a profitable show and plans were put together to create a touring company. Fast forward eight years, and the touring versions of Wicked still find themselves in front of sold out audiences all across America. Tickets for the show can be found on the Ticket King website. Our Milwaukee office is just four blocks from the Marcus Center. Call now for Wicked tickets.
