It’s the time of year when NHL hockey action is fast approaching. Teams have eight preseason games to play, and most of them start the preseason around the third week in September. The final games of the 2014 hockey season end around Mid April. That means the season is nearly twice as long as pro football. Who is the team to watch in 2014? The Detroit Red Wings. Red wings tickets for home and away games sell out fast. Especially the home games at Joe Lewis Arena. After all, the Red Wings have a long and rich history, with many Stanley Cup titles to their name.
The Red Wings begin their regular season at home, against the Boston Bruins. As luck would have it, the final preseason game is also against Boston. The Red Wings will have a three game home stand to start the season, then they hit the road for one game, before coming back to the Joe Louis arena on October 18. The Red Wings will have six home games in October, and four road games. They will start November on the road for three games, before returning home to face the New Jersey Devils on November 7.
