The number of albums that have come from Dave Matthews Band is enormous. Why? Because the band loves to release live disks. In fact, the band has six platinum live disks and one gold. Those were early works by the band, such as “Live at Red Rocks” and “Listener Supported.” Fans can’t forget the 35 “Live Trax” albums available for fan. The studio albums have all been certified as gold or platinum, as far as sales. Put these numbers all together and they total over 30 million in album sales.
The current members of Dave Matthews Band include Dave himself, Carter Beauford, Stefan Lessard, Boyd Tinsley and more. LeRoi Moore passed away in 2008, after an accident left him with broken ribs and a punctured lung. Butch Taylor has been a guest on stage many times. The only other member that left the band since the early nineties was Peter Griesar.
