  • Milwaukee Wave 2014 Schedule | Ticket King Wisconsin

The Milwaukee Wave announced their 2014-15 regular season schedule earlier this week. The longest running professional indoor soccer franchise in the country, the Wave revealed that they will kick-off their thirtieth season in St. Louis on November 8 against the Ambush. The team’s first game of the year at the now-named UW-Milwaukee Panthers Arena won’t come until a month later, as they host the Ambush in Milwaukee on December 6.
Along with three decades together, the 2014-15 season also marks the Wave’s debut year in the newly formed Major Arena Soccer League. The MASL represents a merging of the former Major Indoor Soccer League and Premier Arena Soccer League, creating the single largest professional indoor soccer league in the Americas, comprising over 20 teams from the United States and Mexico. Familiar foes from the Wave’s past in their new league include rivals Baltimore Blast and last year’s MISL champions Missouri Comets.
First year head coach Giuliano Oliviero told reporters during the announcement that he is excited to lead the Wave into their inaugural year as part of the MASL. He added that a number of veteran players from last season’s playoff team would be returning in 2014, as well as a couple of new faces, including former head coach Keith Tozer’s son Alex Tozer.

  • Pearl Jam Milwaukee Tickets On Sale Now | Ticket King Inc.

It’s been 24 years since Pearl Jam first took to the stage.  There have been very few lineup changes in that time, so it’s safe to say that this is truly an original version (if you count Matt Cameron’s sixteen year tenure,) of the band.  Tickets for Pearl Jam Milwaukee are on sale now. Their tour is titled “Pearl Jam 2014.”
The two shows leading up to the date at the BMO Harris Bradley Center are already sold out.  The performance date following Milwaukee is also sold out.  It’s safe to say that this event is in high demand. The tour ends with a pair of shows at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California.
What can be said about Pearl Jam that hasn’t already been covered? Their first studio album came out in 1991, at the height of the “Grunge” era. That’s right about the time that they lost “drummer number one” to Saturday Night Live’s house band. Matt Chamberlain was out, and he handpicked his replacement in Dave Abbruzzese.  Within two years of the album release, the group would find themselves on a huge national tour, and in front of a live audience on television.  Their list of albums has now reached number ten, and that one is titled Lightning Bolt. Prior to that release, the band put out “Backspacer,” in 2009.
  • Ford Field Tickets For Packers Games | Ticket King Inc.

The Green Bay Packers face the Detroit Lions this Sunday at Ford Field. With both teams at 1-1 for the season, a win for either side would be a huge “leg up” for the victor. Which team will come out on top? Odds makers have the Packers at five point favorites right now. Given the fact that the advantage for home teams starts at three points, it looks like the “experts” are leaning towards a Green Bay victory.

The Lions have one of the best wide receivers in the league, but Green Bay has a powerful weapon at the same position. Jordy Nelson is coming off of his best game of his career, but still thinking about the few missed opportunities from last week’s affair with the Jets. As for Calvin Johnson, he posted his career best game against our Green Bay Packers in 2001, putting up 244 receiving yards, but the Lions came out on the short end of the stick that day.

Green Bay has a few more weapons on the offensive side of the ball, when compared to Detroit. Still, both teams have a quarterback that can be a threat throughout the four quarters. Will Green Bay stand at 2-1 at the end of the day this Sunday?

  • Red Wings Tickets | Detroit Red Wings 2014 Schedule

It’s the time of year when NHL hockey action is fast approaching. Teams have eight preseason games to play, and most of them start the preseason around the third week in September.  The final games of the 2014 hockey season end around Mid April.  That means the season is nearly twice as long as pro football. Who is the team to watch in 2014? The Detroit Red Wings. Red wings tickets for home and away games sell out fast.  Especially the home games at Joe Lewis Arena. After all, the Red Wings have a long and rich history, with many Stanley Cup titles to their name.

The Red Wings begin their regular season at home, against the Boston Bruins. As luck would have it, the final preseason game is also against Boston. The Red Wings will have a three game home stand to start the season, then they hit the road for one game, before coming back to the Joe Louis arena on October 18.  The Red Wings will have six home games in October, and four road games. They will start November on the road for three games, before returning home to face the New Jersey Devils on November 7.

  • Brewers Home Games September 2014 | Brewers Playoff Tickets and Game Dates

The Milwaukee Brewers have just a few more weeks to prove themselves worthy of a playoff spot. After spending almost the entire 2014 season in first place, the team now is in a struggle for that spot they owned for so much of this summer.  Will these next few weeks prove that the Brew Crew has what it takes, or will we look back at 2014 and ask ourselves “What went wrong?” How can you help? You can get to a Brewers game in 2014, before the season ends, and before they (hopefully) make the playoffs.  Here are the remaining home Brewers games. Get on over to Miller Park and cheer them on to victory!

Brewers Home Games In September 2014

The Brewers take on the St. Louis Cardinals at Miller Park on September 4. The series continues for three more games, before the Miami Marlins come to Milwaukee. In that series, the teams will face each other for four games. The Reds will take on the Brewers for three games right after that. So yes, we are looking at a home stand of eleven games in eleven days. The last series at home for Milwaukee will be against the Chicago Cubs.  The game dates are September 26 through September 28.

    Brewers Playoff Tickets For 2014

Should the team make the MLB playoffs, their first game is set for either a “wild card” one game playoff on September 30, or they get a break and start their first playoff series on October 2. We’re all hoping for the latter.  Go Brewers!

  • Favre Retirement Jersey Game Date Set For 2015 | Packers Retired Jerseys and Players

It looks like the Green Bay Packers relationship with their former star quarterback; Brett Favre has found a “happy place.”  Earlier this month, the franchise announced that it would honor Favre in 2015 as just their sixth Packer ever to have his number retired. The recognition comes just seven years after the Mississippi native left the team (not without controversy) after announcing his retirement. We all know the story, he then returned to football, to play for the New York Jets and then the Minnesota Vikings.
No date for the retirement of Favre’s number “4” jersey has been announced, though officials with the team told reporters that it will likely be a primetime game against a division opponent. Speculative minds have supposed that the Chicago Bears, the Packers long-time rivals, will likely be the visiting team. Spokespeople also revealed that they would like to celebrate Favre’s induction into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame that same night.
The date for the quarterback’s official induction has been set for July 18, 2015. He is the sole inductee of that year’s class. All five other retired jerseys have also been accepted into the Packers Hall of Fame at Lambeau Field, as well as the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Retired Packers Jerseys Number in the Few

Don Hudson (14) was the first Packer to have his jersey retired, in 1951. Tony Canadeo (3) was retired the following year. It wouldn’t be until 20 years later that quarterback Bart Starr (15) would become the third Packers jersey to retire, in 1972. Ray Nitschke (66) had his number retired at a December 1984 game against the Bears, while the late Reggie White received the honor just one year after his death, in 2005.
Favre spoke with team officials and reporters through a video-conference call on the day of the announcement. He told them that despite the emotions surrounding his exit from the team in 2008, he was and always will be a Packer. He thanked the fans for their support of the decision and compared the shock of receiving the honor as similar to his first win with the team in 1992.

Since that win against the Bengals as a stand-in for the injured Don Majkowski, Favre amassed 9 pro bowl appearances, two NFC Championships, and one Super Bowl. He managed passing records in almost every category, highlighted by surpassing Dan Marino as the quarterback with the most receiving yards.

Ticket King has once again partnered with two great sports bars, to bring you bus trips to Lambeau Field in Green Bay. For select games, the tailgate will take place at the Green Bay Distillery in fabulous Green Bay Wisconsin.

  • Wisconsin State Fair Music Schedule | State Fair Seating Chart

The Wisconsin State Fair is in full swing, and it’s more than cows and cream puffs.  It’s also about music. Each night, there is a headline musical group that performs at the fair.  Who’s playing there in 2014? It’s a diverse group of musical starts, to be sure. With six more days to go, we’ll cover the list of performers that have yet to play. The fair tends to wind down on the last night, so the early start time for Alabama is just perfect. Tickets for the shows are available now.  Admission to the fair grounds is included.

    State Fair Wisconsin Music

Tonight, it’s Aretha Franklin, and she starts her show at 7:30 pm.

    August 10 – Alabama – 6pm

    State Fair Wisconsin Seating Chart

The best seats for the bands are right on the racetrack.  There are seven “track” sections to choose from, and the are all roughly 20 rows deep.  From there, seating is available in the stands, where you will find bleachers.  Grandstand seating is available for some of the shows, but the view from the grandstand can be limited. Sections 1-3 are directly in front of the stage.  Sections 4 through 7 are further to the left and right, but views are still good. Seating in the bleachers can provide you a view from above.  See you at the Fair.

  • Packers Game Tickets 2014 | Buy Sell or Upgrade Your Tickets Today

With the Green Bay Packers being sold out for years to come, the best way to obtain 2014 tickets is to use a trusted ticket broker. Ticket King can get you in the game, on the road or at home. We’re members of the BBB and NATB, and Packers tickets are what we do.

Green Bay opens the season on the road, at Seattle.  The Seahawks are coming off their Super Bowl victory, and you can bet that this is one of the biggest games for both teams, right out of the box. Green Bay fans haven’t forgotten the “catch-no catch” call from the strike season, and this is the first game where the Packers have the chance to bury that bad old memory. The game is set for September 4, and all eyes will be on two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

The Packers host the New York Jets on September 14, and it’s the afternoon game on CBS. Green Bay will be fresh off a nine day break, since the opening game is on a Thursday night. The Jets are coming off of a .500 season, Rex Ryan is still at the helm, and they have the Patriots in their sites, but first they have to play all three NFC North teams, then take on the Chargers and Broncos. Their first test will be a game at home against the Raiders, then it’s off to Lambeau Field to play the Packers. You can bet that if Green Bay loses their opener, they will be frothing at the mouth to get a win at home against New York.

Packers versus Lions: The Lions will play host in Green Bay’s first NFC North match up of 2014. The date is set for September 21, and kickoff is at noon. The Lions said goodbye to their head coach, thinking that he didn’t utilize the talent that was handed to him.  With the Lions, you never know what you are going to get.  At home, they have managed to defeat Green Bay five times since 2000.  On the road, they haven’t won a game against the Packers in that same time span.  So here it is, Detroit’s chance to be 6-23 overall, going back fourteen seasons.

Green Bay’s road trip doesn’t get any easier, as the team heads to Chicago on September 28. Will Julius Peppers sack his old teammate time and time again? Will the Packers need another amazing “4th Down Miracle” touchdown pass to seal the game? All we know is that it’s going to be exciting football, and it’s just a few weeks into the season. Packers tickets for road games are always available.

  • Miller Park Carry In Policy Essentials | Ticket King Inc.

The Milwaukee Brewers, like any professional sports team, have a list of prohibited items, should you think about spending a day at the ballpark. With thousands of people looking for a good time at Miller Park, there will always be a few newcomers that just need to know what they can and can’t bring into the venue. To help fans enjoy that good time, we offer the following “Rules of Conduct and Carry In” information for you. Below is a short summary of that list.
Alcohol – Alcohol is available for purchase inside the ballpark, but fans are not allowed to bring it in. This is Wisconsin, and we’re known to imbibe with the best of them. Heck, we have the best tailgating in the country, and part of that stems from the fact that we (used to) make most of the beer that is consumed in this great land. Nobody is stopping you from tippling before the game.  You just have to finish your “brewski” before you walk through the gates. What kind drinks can one obtain inside Miller Park? The alcohol sold within the stadium varies, depending on what section you are sitting in, and what levels you happen to be on. Can you get hard liquor? There are a few areas designated for such drinks. The vendors that roam the stands will sell mostly beer and possibly malt-liquor based beverages.  With all the tailgating that takes place prior to the games, it’s best that hard liquor is found in limited quantities inside the ballpark. There is no need to try to sneak in that home brew you whipped up just before the game.  They have you covered.
Brooms/Broomsticks – “Sweeping the broom” during a playoff series, in which one teams sweeps the other, is a very common theme in baseball. However during the regular season (and in the playoffs,) it is a big “no no” to bring along your O-Cedar from your kitchen closet.  Some people prefer to create a sign or banner that might include a picture of a broom as part of the artsy mix. Banners are allowed, as long as they are not offensive, nor can the banner interfere with the game, or obstruct views.
Hard Sided Coolers/Snack Containers – Light sided coolers and containers are allowed, but they are restricted in size. The largest cooler allowed can be no bigger than 16X16X8. You can expect that cooler or bag to be inspected.  If you have to ask why, see the rule on alcohol listed above.
Glass Containers – We find it pretty obvious as to why you cannot bring glass containers into the ballpark. Glass is dangerous.  Glass items can break, and we don’t want anyone getting hurt at the old ballpark.  If your liquids are in plastic, as they should be, they must also be sealed from the point of manufacture. Even if your mom makes the best lemonade in the world, you need to leave it behind.  Keep the lemonade in your car for post-game tailgating.
Laser Pointers – Why would someone bring a laser pointer to the ballpark? To distract a player? That’s the last thing we need to see. Something like the following could easily occur: “Braun steps back up to the plate, swings at the pitch, oh no, strike three, game over.  Wait a minute; someone seems to have blinded him with a laser pointer. That’s probably going to keep Braun from playing in the next series.”  Laser pointers at sporting events are not fun. In fact, they are dangerous, and they just might get you removed from the game, possibly for life! Let’s all keep those pesky laser pointers at home, were they are best reserved for distracting your cat.
Noise Makers – We have all heard about those professional sports teams that encourage people to bring a cowbell to the next home game. You are probably thinking Admirals hockey at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. We’re talking about baseball, at Miller Park. Keep that cowbell tied to “Bessie” and don’t even think about dragging along that big, plastic vuvuzela you saved from the 2010 World Cup. This is not World Cup Soccer. This is the most treasured sport in America, and we don’t use noisemakers.  We use our loud voices and clapping hands. Like anyone is really going to hear a noise maker in a crowd of 40,000 people? “Accessory free” cheering is much more fun anyway.
Throwing items – Throwing something onto the field or in the stands is probably the quickest way to get booted from Miller Park. First, if you actually think that someone won’t see you do it, you must think that you are invisible. In your section alone, there might be 500 Brewers fans, eyes wide open, all watching out for foul balls. Tossing that plastic cup after a bad call from the umpire will be witnessed by dozens of people, including security. Brewers fans come to watch Yovani Gallardo pitch, not you. And finally, you can’t bring a baseball into a baseball stadium. It’s an interesting rule, and completely understandable.
Weapons – No weapons allowed.  It’s a day of baseball, not weapons. You’ll be safe, because nobody else has a weapon at Miller Park. The worst thing that can happen at the ballgame is that you end up with condiments on your worn out Robin Yount jersey. The one that you still insist on wearing, even though your wife has told you a thousand times that you just don’t fit in it anymore.
So there you have it, our carry-in essentials for Miller Park. We may not have a complete list here, but we covered the important ones. Now get on out there and enjoy the game!
