The Who will be coming to Milwaukee in 2015. The band is celebrating their 50th year, buy hitting the road for a massive tour. This current tour will feature Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend. Backing up Townshend is his son Simon. On drums, Zak Starky (Ringo Starr’s son,) will represent the “Moon-less” line up. On bass, Pino Palladino takes the place of John Entwistle. It’s an interesting mix of musicians, to be sure. The Who Milwaukee tickets can be found here.
The remaining members are calling this tour “The beginning of a long goodbye.” You may never get the chance to see them perform live again, so why not join a few thousand other fans. The band has lost a few “friends along the way”, but that shouldn’t stop the two surviving members from celebrating with a long road trip.
