Parking for Green Bay Packers Games

Ticket King has limited game-day parking for sale.

Lambeau Field is situated in a very unique place for an NFL stadium. It’s not in a downtown location. It’s not somewhere outside of a large metropolitan city. It’s right in the middle of a residential neighborhood, just along a light commercial street in Green Bay Wisconsin. So what does that mean for Parking options during Green Bay Packers Games? We’ll break down all the options for Packers fans heading to their next home game.

Official Lambeau Field Parking

  • Season Parking Passes: When it comes to parking for Green Bay Packers games, these passes are the Holy Grail of parking opportunities at Lambeau Field. All parking spaces in the lots surrounding Lambeau Field are sold out to holders of season parking passes. That means one of the only ways to obtain a parking pass for Lambeau Field lots is through Ticket King’s website. Ticket King carries Green Bay season parking passes for all home games, but they go fast. These passes are distributed on a one-year basis and may be withdrawn at the discretion of the Packers. Rarely, will these passes be available on game day. It’s best to purchase them well ahead of the game.
  • Individual Game Parking: PMI offers parking in nearby lots that can be reserved on an individual-game basis. The city of Green Bay is easy to navigate on foot, once you park your vehicle, so paying for a space in a PMI lot does not mean a long walk is ahead of you. Reservations can be made through Ticket Star by visiting their website or calling 800-895-0071. Additionally, a limited number of individual parking passes in Lot 15 are available for pre-purchase, with all pre-sold passes being digital and presented on gameday via mobile phone.

Private and Residential Parking Options

If you’ve ever been to a Packers home game, you will notice that as you get closer to the stadium numerous private property owners in the surrounding area offer parking at varying prices. Make that drive to neighborhoods surrounding Lambeau Field early for those coveted spots on private property. Make sure the owner of the property won’t park you in if you plan to beat the traffic out of Green Bay after the game.

  • Residential Lawn Parking: Homeowners near Lambeau Field offer lawn parking for a fee, typically ranging from $20 to $50+. Some homeowners provide perks like access to bathrooms, tailgating opportunities, and easy in/easy out access. Again, it’s advisable to ensure that vehicles won’t be blocked in to avoid delays when leaving after the game.
  • Business Parking Lots: Local businesses such as The Bar, Green Bay Distillery, and Kroll’s West sell parking spaces on game days. These lots may offer amenities and are generally more affordable than official stadium parking.

Free Packers Parking Options

  • Free parking is available on many residential streets within walking distance of Lambeau Field. However, it’s crucial to observe posted signs indicating parking restrictions to avoid fines or towing. Arriving early increases the likelihood of securing a free spot.

Tailgating Information:

  • Tailgating is permitted in Lambeau Field parking lots, with each vehicle allowed one parking space. Grill cooking with charcoal or L.P. gas is allowed, but grills must be supervised and fully extinguished before being left unattended. Stadium restrooms accessible from the parking lot are available to tailgaters from the time the parking lot opens (four hours prior to kickoff) until one hour prior to kickoff.

Public Transportation and Shuttle Services

  • Green Bay Metro offers bus services to Lambeau Field on game days, providing an excellent alternative to driving and parking. Buses run frequently, starting a few hours before the game and continuing until a few hours after the game ends.

Parking for Oversized Vehicles

  • Vehicles parking in any Lambeau Field-operated parking lot must fit in a 9×18 parking stall. PMI offers bus and RV parking in nearby locations. For more information, contact PMI at 920.405.1222.

Payment Methods

  • Lambeau Field has transitioned to entirely cashless payment systems throughout the stadium on gamedays and non-gamedays. This includes parking fees, which are $50 and cashless. Fans who do not use credit or bank cards may use free cash-to-card conversion stations available at various locations at Lambeau Field and Titletown on gamedays and in the Atrium on non-gamedays.

Be aware of new parking rules in the Village of Ashwaubenon, where fines for improper parking on game days have increased from $50 to $200. Signs reading “No parking day of Packers game” are posted throughout the town to ensure compliance.

Packers Free Agents

After the 2023 season came to a close it can be said that the Packers now have a strong, young core led by a quarterback who signed a record-breaking contract. The team is managed by a talented coach, and the core of the team is one of the youngest in the league. One issue still stood out as the team faced 2024, that’s the payroll. The team made hard choices and let key players go. And that meant in the offseason the team had significant gaps to fill on the defense, the offensive line, and at running back. These gaps needed to be addressed not through the draft, but through free agents who could step up on day one.

Before the first snap of the Packers regular season, 24 free agents passed through the front office at Lambeau Field. Not all of these players would make it to the final starting roster. In fact, many would find work with other teams.

24 Free Agents the Packers Considered Before the 2024 Season

  • RB Josh Jacobs Las Vegas Raiders
  • FS Xavier McKinney New York Giants
  • K Greg Joseph Minnesota Vikings
  • CB Gemon Green New York Giants
  • OT Andre Dillard Tennessee Titans
  • WR Julian Hicks Albany Great Danes
  • G Lecitus Smith Philadelphia Eagles
  • WR Dimitri Stanley Iowa State Cyclones
  • DT Spencer Waege San Francisco 49ers
  • K James Turner Detroit Lions
  • WR Rory Starkey Samford Bulldogs
  • WR Jalen Wayne Montreal Alouettes
  • QB Jacob Eason New York Giants
  • LS Peter Bowden Green Bay Packers
  • CB Don Callis Troy Trojans
  • CB LJ Davis Tennessee Titans
  • DE Brevin Allen Los Angeles Chargers
  • K Alex Hale Oklahoma State
  • DE Zach Morton San Antonio Brahmas
  • RB Nate McCrary Michigan Panthers
  • LB Chris Russell San Antonio Brahmas
  • FB Henry Pearson Green Bay Packers
  • DT Keonte Schad Houston Roughnecks
  • K Brayden Narveson Tennessee Titans

Considering a free agent for signing does not necessarily mean the team will place the player on the practice squad, sign them as a backup, or even make them a starter. Some are passing through on their way to other teams, while others are pegged to fill gaps during training camp. Which Packers free agents coming into the franchise made the roster and which players mad the most impact so far?

Safety Xavier McKinny Comes to Green Bay

The team lost long-time starter, Darnell Savage. Savage played for five seasons in Green Bay and started in 69 games where he totaled nine interceptions and 302 combined tackles. Savage played solidly for the Pack, but the team released him, and the Jacksonville Jaguars picked him up.

To replace Savage, the Packers signed free agent Xavier McKinney. With the Giants, he played in 49 games and recorded nine interceptions and 279 tackles. For the Pack, he has started nine games, grabbed an NFL leading six interceptions, and recorded 42 total tackles. McKinney has been a superstar for the Pack and has been a valuable pick-up for the team. He signed a 4-year $67 million contract and will be a lockdown safety for years to come.

Running Back Josh Jacobs Signs With Packers

The loss of long-time Packer Aaron Jones hurt the team and fans alike. Drafted by the Packers, he rushed for 5940 yards and 45 touchdowns over his career. He ranked third all-time on the Packers rushing leaders list and will go down as a legend for the team. But running backs in this era of the NFL don’t last as long as they did even a decade ago, and parting ways would free up big money for other options. The Packers parted ways with Jones, and the search was on for his replacement.

Taking Jones’s place was star Raiders running back Josh Jacobs. The team selected Jacobs with the 24th pick in the 2019 NFL draft. Jacobs played 5 years for the Raiders where he totaled 6993 scrimmage yards and 46 touchdowns. He earned an invitation to a pair of Pro Bowls and was first-team All-Pro in 2022. So far with Green Bay he has played in 9 games and posted 890 total yards and 4 touchdowns. Jacobs signed a four-year $48 million contract and will be the Packers feature back.

Offensive Line Backup Dillard Chosen

The team needed to address the O-line after losing multiple key players, including David Bakhtiari and Jon Runyan Jr. Bakhtiari missed most of the season due to injury, and the team released him. Runyan started all 17 games for the Pack in 2023 and had a solid season at offensive guard. Runyan moved on to the Giants in free agency.

To replace the holes in the offensive line, the Pack signed Andre Dillard to improve their O-line depth. Dillard was selected 22nd overall by the Eagles in the 2019 draft and played three seasons in Philadelphia. Afterward, he spent one season with the Titans before being picked up by the Packers. Since joining the Packers, Dillard has proven to be a solid backup and special-teams player. Dillard signed a 1-year $1.1 million contract with the Packers.

McKinney and Jacobs represent the headlining Packers free-agents for 2024. The team would fill the remainder of the gaps through the draft. The Pack selected Arizona tackle Jordan Morgan with their first-round pick. Morgan is a skilled player; however, some analysts view him as a bit of a reach. Nonetheless, he is someone the team believes they can develop into their starting tackle.

The Packers free agents for 2024 are making an impact for the squad. Credit is due to the Packers’ front office, as their well-thought-out decisions have significantly helped the team improve. To achieve this progress, difficult decisions were made; moreover, chances were taken, young players were given opportunities, and, conversely, familiar faces departed. Looking ahead, if key signings perform to their full potential and rookies develop into stars, the team will be well-positioned to make a strong playoff run and contend for a Super Bowl victory.

“Starting Price vs. Final Price” – How to Know You Saved on Packers Tickets

How do you know that you paid the lowest price on Packers tickets? Don’t let the list price on the big broker’s sites fool you. After fees and taxes are added, we beat their price on owned inventory. You may see a lower starting price for the same tickets to a game. What counts at the end is the grand total you pay for your seats. Finally, we’re here for customer support. If you are looking for just the right ticket grouping, or you have questions about seat locations or the view from your seats, we’re here for you. How is the NFL Schedule Determined?

There are rules that apply to every NFL team, every season. These rules do give us a peek at which teams will face each other, aside from the usual divisional opponents.

  • Each team plays 17 regular season games.
  • All teams get a bye week.
  • Teams alternate seasons where they host nine regular season games and one preseason game or eight regular season games and two preseason games.
  • Each team will play six games against divisional opponents – two against each team, one at home and one on the road.
  • Each team has four games against teams from a division within its conference – two games at home and two on the road.
  • Each team has four games against teams from a division in the other conference – two games at home and two on the road.
  • Each team has two games against teams from the two remaining divisions in its own conference – one game at home and one on the road. Matchups are based on division ranking from the previous season.
  • The 17th game for each team is an additional game against a non-conference opponent from a division that the team is not scheduled to play. Matchups are based on division ranking from the previous season.

Green Bay Packers Tickets & 2023 Schedule

It’s a new season in Green Bay, with a new starting quarterback. Packers tickets are ready to ship for the 2023 schedule. Pick your home or away game and cheer on the new-look Packers.

Packers vs. Bengals at Cincinnati August 11

It all starts with preseason games at home and on the road. Green Bay’s first game is at Cincinnati on August 11. That game will be televised on the Packers TV Network. The Packers will have up to 90 players on their roster at preseason game number one. With the change in preseason roster cut rules, all NFL teams will have the chance to keep the 90 man roster until August 29. Surely, some players will hit the free-agent market sooner than August 29.

Packers vs. Patriots at Lambeau August 19

Preseason game number two is against the New England Patriots at Lambeau Field, on August 19. Packers vs. Patriots tickets for that game are currently priced below $15 each, and go up from there. Will the Patriots go with Mac Jones as starting quarterback in 2023? Will Jordan Love get all the preseason snaps in that game? Grab some game tickets and see it live.

Packers vs. Seahawks at Lambeau Field August 26

In the third and final preseason game of 2023, the Packers will host the Seahawks at noon on August 26. It will be the last chance for players on the bubble, before the roster is cut to 53 men. Packers vs. Seahawks preseason tickets are currently priced below $40 each. Geno Smith will get the chance to lead Seattle, after the team made the 2022 playoffs as a wild-card entry. Smith is looking to have a new contract in hand by the start of the 2023 season.

Packers vs. Bears in Game One of the Regular Season

Green bay will open the 2023 regular season on the road against the Chicago Bears. Jordan Love would like nothing more than to keep Green Bay’s dominance over the Bears in tact. The Bears will give Justin Fields his chance at starting quarterback once again. Fields ran for 1143 yards in 2022, so the Packers defense will have to keep a man on him at all times. Packers vs. Bears tickets for the season opener are available now.

Packers vs. Falcons September 17, 2023

Game number two of the regular season will feature the Packers on the road, at Atlanta. This is a noon game on Sunday, September 17. The Falcons struggled in 2022, and they look to improve in 2023. Desmond Ridder takes over as starting quarterback for the Falcons, after getting the opportunity to start in the final four games of the 2022 season. In those games he managed 115 pass attempts, with zero interceptions. If you are looking for a great road game to attend, choose Packers vs. Falcons tickets for this early season showdown.

Packers vs Lions at Lambeau Field September 28

The Lions shot down Green Bay’s hopes for a Wild-Card bid in the 2022 playoffs. They are a team on the upswing, and they come to Green Bay on September 28. In 2022, Jared Goff threw 29 touchdowns and just seven interceptions. He finished the season with a passer rating of 99.3. This Lions team is young and hungry.
