Shuttles to Summerfest Milwaukee in 2023

Summerfest 2023 is once again going to be held just on weekends this year. What are the best ways to get to the Summerfest grounds without the worries of parking? Taking a Summerfest shuttle from one of the local bars or hotels is a great option. Our list may not include every shuttle, but we’ve picked some of the best-known from around the city.

Steny’s Summerfest Shuttle

Steny’s is located on the corner of 2nd and National. What’s the cost of their shuttle? Just buy a drink at the bar and you’re all set. Shuttles start at 1 pm and run every hour. After 5 pm, the shuttles will run every 30 minutes. Just be sure to catch that last shuttle that runs about an hour after the Summerfest grounds close. Call Steny’s at (414)672-7139 to confirm.

O’Lydia’s Shuttle from the Third Ward

O’Lydia’s is quite close to the Summerfest grounds but far enough away to allow you to find a parking spot without worry. The bar is located at 338 S. 1st Street. Get to O’Lydia’s for some brews and food before you jump on the shuttle. Their menu includes your standard pub food, but they do it up right.

Paulie’s Pub – Shuttle from West Allis

Paulie’s Pub is a great Summerfest shuttle option if you are coming from the West Allis area. In fact, Paulie’s runs shuttles to so many other events. Grab a shuttle to the Fiserv, the Panther Arena, or the Brewers game. The bar is a great pre-Summerfest stop for a drink or food. They’re located at 8031 W. Greenfield Avenue, in West Allis.

Iron Horse Hotel – Shuttle from the Valley

Looking for a hotel shuttle to Summerfest? We recommend checking with the Iron Horse Hotel. The Iron Horse is on 5th & Florida, in the valley, just west of the Summerfest grounds. Rooms book early during Summerfest weekends, so it’s best to check months ahead.

Pfister Hotel Summerfest Shuttle

The Pfister is a historic luxury hotel in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. If you book a room for a Summerfest weekend, check with the Pfister to see if their Summerfest shuttle is running. It’s a 5-minute drive from the Pfister to the festival grounds, but a shuttle will save you the trouble of parking. Also, you never know if you’ll run into one of the bands headlining Summerfest that same night!

Hilton City Center – Milwaukee

The Hilton Milwaukee City Center is a large hotel on 5th & Wisconsin, in downtown Milwaukee. The hotel is a hub of activity all year round, and during Summerfest, it’s generally booked up. Still, you can grab their shuttle without having to book a room. Call the hotel to confirm the dates and availability before you head down to the Hilton.

Packers Green Versus Gold Package | What Does That Mean?

In 2023, the Packers “Gold” package games are September 28, vs. Lions and November 19, vs. Chargers. Keep reading for a complete explanation of the difference between Green and Gold Packers game packages.

Do you wonder what the Packers “Green” versus “Gold” package means? Is there some sort of way to find out which games are which? Ticket King has your answer. First, you don’t really need to know which games are “Green” or “Gold” we sell Green Bay tickets for every home and away game on the schedule. But there are some things to know about how the tickets are divided.

It helps to understand that at one time the Packers played two regular season games at County Stadium in Milwaukee Wisconsin. They also played a preseason game in Milwaukee each year. Believe it or not, there wasn’t such high demand for Packer tickets during the 1970’s. The franchise struggled to fill Lambeau Field. Their solution was to court the fans that lived in Milwaukee. After all, Milwaukee is over five times the size of Green Bay. So the organization split the season tickets.  The “Green Package” covers seven games (one preseason, and six regular season games in total.)  The “Gold Package” covers the three games that used to be played in Milwaukee (one preseason, and two regular season games.)

Milwaukee Fans Drive To Green Bay For Gold Games

When the Packers decided to move those games back up to Lambeau Field, that meant the Milwaukee season ticket holders would have to drive two hours north to see their team play. Milwaukee ticket holders get home game two and five, every season. For 2022, Milwaukee ticket holders will have Packers vs. Patriots and Green Bay vs. Tennessee Titans games. On those days, expect traffic to be heavy on interstate 43, leading to Green Bay from the Milwaukee area.  All the other home games are “Green” package games.  While traffic can be heavy going into and out of Green Bay on any game day, it tends to disburse outward into all directions on “Green” package days.

When Do the Cubs Play the Brewers In Milwaukee for 2023?

The Cubs vs. Brewers series late in the season is set for September 29 through October 1. These three games fall on the weekend, and they are sure to be exciting. For September 29, the game starts at 7:10pm. On Saturday September 30, it’s another night game, but it starts at 6:10pm. Finally the Sunday game on October 1 will start at 2:10pm.

Bag Policy for American Family Field in Milwaukee

Every sports stadium or music venue has its own carry-in, or “bag policy” that must be followed. American Family Field in Milwaukee is no different. Whether it’s a Brewers game or a concert, there are rules you need to follow before you enter the venue.

For people looking to bring a small bag or purse, the maximum dimensions must be no larger than 9″ X 5″ X 2″. Clear bags are allowed and their size cannot be larger than 12″ X 6″ X 12″. Smaller clear bags like one gallon and zip lock style are allowed.

For people bringing diaper bags, there are allowances for size, but please check before entering the venue. Folks with ADA or medical concerns can also bring larger bags. It’s always best to follow what the event staff advises during the fan entry and screening process. Check with the venue before you depart.

Keep in mind that no backpacks, drawstring bags, tote bags, laptop bags, soft-sided coolers, purses, or gym bags are allowed at any time, no matter the size. American Family Field tickets for all Brewers games are available now. Enjoy the game, and follow the bag policy rules so you don’t miss a minute of the action on the field.

Packers vs. 49ers Playoff Game at Lambeau Field | Packers Tickets Available

The Green Bay Packers
will face the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional round of the playoffs this Saturday night. Packers playoff tickets for that game are in high demand as both high profile teams have fans that travel. Earlier this season, the Packers defeated the 49ers with a last second field goal. These two teams have faced each other many times in playoff situations. Aaron Rodgers & Co. will need to be firing on all cylinders in order to win in Green Bay. Playoff tickets for the game are going fast, now the the opponent and game time has been announced.

The 49ers upset the Dallas Cowboys on the road last night, in a game that featured numerous penalties and a controversial situation involving the referees spotting the ball as time ran out. Dallas fans will no doubt find the fault completely on the shoulders of the officiating, while ignoring the fact that Dak Prescott handed the ball to his center after running a quarterback screen with just fifteen seconds to play. That play, and the mistake by Prescott, left no time on the clock for a spiked ball and hail Mary attempt. The 49ers took an early lead in that game and just held on. The Cowboys have the entire off-season to mull over what happened, but their focus should be on the fact that they were the most penalized team to make the playoffs this season.

Packers fans would have preferred to face those penalty heavy Cowboys. Will the cold January weather favor the Packers this coming Saturday night? It certainly can’t hurt a team like Green Bay that is used to playing cold weather games. Should the Packers win on Saturday night, the NFC Championship game will take place at Lambeau Field the next weekend.

Packers NFC North Title in 2021 | Playoffs Now a Lock

The 2021 Green Bay Packers regular season started off with a fizzle. The team took on the New Orleans Saints, with Aaron Rodgers sitting out the entire preseason. That was a game where the script was flipped and Jameis Winston threw five touchdown passes. Green Bay managed just three points against a Saints defense that was unstoppable. Packers fans were stunned. Aaron Rodgers asked us all to once again calm down and wait for better results. Green Bay went on to win the next seven games. He was correct, as the team shot up to lead the NFC North and never looked back. Yesterday, the Packers edged out the Baltimore Ravens and clinched the NFC North title once again. They are on their way in the playoffs, hoping for the first seed in the NFC. That would mean home field advantage throughout the playoffs and a bye week to start. Those same Saints that hobbled the Packers in week number one, managed to hold Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers scoreless in a Sunday Night game, currently placing the Packers at the top of the NFC. Will that lead hold? Only the Browns, Vikings and Lions have a chance to topple the Pack before the playoffs begin. At the same time, key starters are looking to get back into the game just as the playoffs begin. It’s sure to be an exciting playoff run. Packers tickets for the playoffs are now on sale.

Rodgers Up For 2021 MVP

Aaron Rodgers is a leading candidate for Most Valuable Player, and if he keeps up his weekly performance he just might get that fourth nod from the powers that be. It’s doubtful that his goal is that title. It’s all about that Lombardi trophy at this time in his career. Could this be the team that brings that trophy back home to Green Bay? Many signs point to yes.

First, we have to consider the fact that the Packers offensive line is strung together with string and chewing gum right now. At kickoff last night, there was a third string player protecting Rodgers in the pocket. Billy Turner, David Bakhtiari, Josh Myers, were all out once again. When the last seconds ticked off with the Packers taking the victory formation for the last play, Rodgers had been sacked three times that afternoon. The line is holding up. The defense is a top ten force. The offense does give up points in the first quarter of just about every game, but it seems like it’s just a matter of making defensive adjustments. Green Bay outscores their opponents in the second and third quarters by a country mile.

With the playoffs a lock, it’s now down to where the team will land in the NFL bracket. The Buccaneers will surely right the ship after the shutout. The Dallas Cowboys might be the sleeper team that runs the table in the playoffs. The Cardinals were hot out of the gate, but have stumbled a bit in the past few weeks. It’s great to see the Packers in the playoffs once again.

Brewers Playoff 2021 Division Series Even | Ticket King Inc.

The Milwaukee Brewers playoff record stands at 1-1 at the time of this post. The team lead their division for the bulk of the season, and they have high hopes for going deep in the playoffs. Will they make it all the way to the World Series? First things first. The team will have to take down the Atlanta Braves before moving on to the NLCS. Brewers playoff tickets for all home and away games are available on our Ticket King website.

In game one of the NLDS series, both teams struggled to find footing in the early innings. Fans a American Family Field cheered through 6 1/2 scoreless innings before Rowdy Tellez smacked a home run off of Braves starting pitcher Charlie Morton. Morton was mowing down Brewers batters in the leadup to the home run. He fanned nine, and walked just one batter.

The Braves had a spark of their own in the eighth, when Joc Pederson hit a home run with the bases empty. In the ninth, The Braves had men on the corners with two outs, but Josh Hader settled down just enough to get a game ending ground out to second base. In game two, the Braves scored a pair of runs in the third inning and never looked back. They added another run in the sixth, and shut out the Brewers to even the series. Game three and four will be at Atlanta.
